Base64 customers control how their data is used, stored, and accessed. Google Cloud manages (automatically and periodically recycles) the encryption keys. Base64 does not sell customer data.

Storage

Base64 Cloud stores its customers' data (including configuration, files, and AI results) in Google Cloud US-East1 Data Centers in South Carolina. Base64 On-premises stores and processes customer data in the customer's environment without sending it to the Internet.

Customer data is stored with high-grade AES 256 RSA encryption that meets and exceeds the highest industry security standards, including ISO 27001, ISO 20243, HIPAA, SOC 2 Type 2, and GDPR.

Access

Data Retention

Base64 AI does not need to store the data to process the files. The Flow technology protects customer files with an independent, fine-grained access control that determines who can edit, update, or view the AI. For more information, please visit Flow Settings.

Training

Base64 customers can allow or prohibit their data for machine learning training at a high level via their contract terms, or at each Flow level by turning off its data retention, which does not store any files or AI data on Base64 servers.
